About The Andersons
A little more about Adam: Adam was born in Youngstown, Ohio, and until moving to Texas, had lived his entire life in Ohio and Western Pennsylvania. In 2005, he graduated from Grove City College, and began a career in Campus Ministry. However, after taking students on a mission trip to the Bronx, Adam began to wonder how systems contributed to poverty. As a result, he returned to school, receiving a degree in City and Regional Planning and Public Policy, and for five years worked for the State of Ohio in varying positions developing affordable housing and health policy.
A little more about Lindsey: Lindsey was born in Marietta, Ohio, where she stayed after high school and completed a degree to become a Physical Therapist Assistant. This work has taken her to Connecticut, the Carolinas, Ohio, as well as Texas, where she currently helps children with severe physical needs to gain greater independence part-time. Lindsey has also worked as a nursing home therapy administrator, overseeing nearly a dozen different therapists in facilities in Columbus, Ohio. When Lindsey isn't helping children in Austin, she lives into her primary calling caring for our two children, and enjoys staying at home with them as much as possible.
A little more about Adam and Lindsey: Lindsey and Adam met in Spring of 2011, and were married in November of 2011. They just knew. They also felt it was important to have as many family as possible in attendance, and decided to move the wedding up in order to ensure than Lindsey's grandparents would be able to attend. They had their first child, Abraham, in 2013, and their second, Faustena (Frankie) in 2015.
